1 March Come Ribek, day when blessing ceremony is held for every source of living ( rice, barn, spring etc ). Throunghout Bali.
1 March Linggawana Kertha Mandala Villages – Abang district.Pura Desa Ceremony accompanied by Rejang Dewe, Wewalen and Baris Gede dances start at 02.00 pm.
3 March Pagerwesi holiday, the word “Pagerwesi” literally means “Iron fence”, the day devoted to god as Sanghyang Pramesti Guru (Lord of the UNIVERSE). Throughout Bali.
13 March - Tumpek Landep,day, the day devoted to Sanghyang Pasupati (God as the lord of all metal implements ) wheen blessing ceremony is given to heirl room, weapon and the other metal tools (including cars ) for mogical power and profer function. Thourghout Bali.
- Pura Ida Ratu Pande, Pura Besakih complex – Rendang district, Pura Dalem, Gegelang – Manggis district. Ceremony start at 10.00 am.
- Apit Yeh - Manggis district, ceremony accompanied by sacred Barong dance performed at 06.00 pm.
15 March - Tawur Agung Kesanga ceremony, great sacrificial ceremony offered`to the underworld spirits for not disturbing human being”s settlement (at 12.00 am) followed by prosess of “ogoh – Ogoh “ (huge symbolizing evil spirits ) in the evening, square or cross roal of town and village throughout Bali.
- Catus Pata (Agung crossroad), Amlapura Town, Kasanga celebration of end Icaka year (Balinese lunar Calendar) 12.00 am and at 06.00pm at other villages. Followed by Pengerupukan ceremony and Ogoh-ogoh parade in several villages at 06.00pm.
- Pura Galuh, Sengkidu – Manggis district. Melasti procession to Pura Segara at 10.00 am and ceremony at 03.00 pm accompanied by Rejang Renteng, Rejang Dewe and Baris dances.
- Pura Desa, Jasri – Karangasem district. Perform a flame fighting use dry coconut leaves ( Ter – teran) start at 06.00 pm.
16 March. Nyepi by Catur Bratha Penyepian (fasting , Yoga, prayer and meditation) started at 06.00 am to 06.00 am, the processions as ; throughout Bali
a. Amati Geni ; no fire/ light ( means self control)
b. Amati Karya ; no activity (total rest)
c. Amati Lelanguan ; no sound (total piece and silent)
d. Amati Lelungan ; no journey/ traveling (stay in)
17 March. Ngembak Geni (New Years Icaka 1931) celebration where people visiting other family (mesimakrama). Throughout Bali,
17 March Pura Dalem, Desa Adat Pekarangan – Manggis district. Usaba Dalem ceremony; pecaruan is unique and sacral rituals by offerings of many cows start at 07.00 am.
17 March Pura Pasar Agung Besakih at Sebudi villages – Selat district and Pura Tirta, Pura Batu Madeg, Nyuhtebel – Manggis district. Ceremony at 03.00 pm.
19 - 23 March Tenganan Pegringsingan

Usaba Ketiga Ceremony;
  • 19 March, First day of “Usaba Ketiga” literally means rituals of third month according to their own calendar. Full moon started with praying to Gaduh temple and other temples of village and carried offering traditional cookies, symbolizing mythological figures while Selonding cheers the atmosphere.
  • 21 March, The rituals commenced with procession of the village’s bachelors playing Selonding music “Subak Daha” at 05.00 pm followed by Abwang performed at Subak Daha at 06.00 pm and ended procession by villagers playing “Bale ganjur” around the village.
  • 23 March, Last day of “Usaba Ketiga” rituals start with praying at all village’s temples while the bachelors marching around the village playing Selonding music at 05.00 pm. Abwang dance will performed by village’s maidens in front.
28 March Pura Petilaan, Pesedahan – Manggis district. Ceremony performed Rejang and Pendet dance starting at 10.00 am – 04.00 pm.
29 March - Betara Turun Kabeh Ceremony at Besakih Temple,Rendang District ( 11 days).
- Pura Lempuyang Madya, Gamongan – Abang district. Ceremony start at 10.00 am.
- Pura Dukuh Sakti, Belatung – Rendang district. Ceremony start at 02.00 pm.
- Pura Desa, Dukuh – Sidemen district. Ceremony start at 02.00 pm.
- Pura Tegeh, Tulamben – Kubu district. Ceremony start at 07.00pm.
- Geriana Kauh – Selat district. Held a ceremony for Bethari Sri accompanied by Sanghyang Dedari dance start at 08.00 pm.
29 March Pura Batu Madeg Besakih complex – Rendang district. Ceremony start at 10.00 am.
30 – 31 March Usaba Kedasa at Bale Agung Timrah, Desa Pertima Karangasem district ceremony start 09.00 am until 06.00 pm accompanied by Rejang and Gamelan Gambang.
