2 January - Tumpek Kandang/Tumpek Uye, ritual the day to work ship “Sanghyang Rare Angon “ the lord of cattle and livestack, requesting good ibreed and product. Every animals husbandry and family compound in Bali.
- Babakan banjar, Gegelang – Manggis district. Jaran Gading and Jero Gede dances start at 06.00 pm.
7 – 22 January BUNGAYA VILLAGE BEBANDEM DISTRICT .

USABA MUU – MUU/ MEMEDI
Ngeramped (one day activities) with the performances as below ;
  • 7 Januar, ‘Nyaga’ ceremony, in front of entrance yard ( lebuh ) gate there is sanggah cucuk and two pieces palm leaves in cross position. added with offerings white and yellow chicken ayunan, suppose as guardian/ refuse the black power/ dieses. In the same time put ‘Memedi’ ceremony ( there is various leaves which drawing a person character as the symbol of buta kala/ bad spirit
  • 10 January,At 06.00 pm ( sandya kala ), ‘memedi’ which putted in every pelinggih on 08th Jan. (three days before in house, merajan, paibon etc. get down and strapped into one then put with bamboo in front of yard/ lebuh gate).At the same time with‘pemuunan’ ceremony / the place of burned bad spirit by cultural village, the end of ceremony by keep knocking the ‘kentongan’ in every banjar adat at 11.00 pm. Continued with burning memedi ceremony and the ash put water on it then created become person character (ngereka) put offerings above it as ‘labaan’/ wages supposed do not harm.
  • 12 January, ‘Ngelisin’ ceremony at Bale Agung temple (clean up ceremony by prajuru cultural village) at 03.00 pm.
  • 22 January, ‘Mecaru’ ceremony at Bale Agung temple in all banjar adat at 03.00 pm untill finished.
12 January - Pura Prajapati Yanghaluh/ Dalem Jenggala and Pura Ratu Penyarikan/ Pura Pedharman Belahbatuh, Besakih complex – Rendang district. Ceremony start at 10.00 am.
- Pura Candidasa, Bugbug – Karangasem district. Ceremony start at 09.00 am.
13 January

Timbrah Village - Karangasem District, Usaba Muhu - Muhu. A male cow is sacrificed in this ritual. The cow is slaughted in the centre of the village (started at 10.00 am). The ceremony is started with a special ceremony. The meat offered to God, then after the ritual it is enjoyed by the people.

14 January - Awhole Bali Island. Siwa Latri celebration whom all Hindus people perform self cleansing by stay awake and meditation a whole night at 06.00am – 06.00 pm ( 36 hours).
- Pura Puseh, Perasi, Karangasem district. Usaba Muhu-muhu/ ceremony accompanied by Gamelan orchestra, rejang and pendet dances start at 10.00 am.
15 January - Pura Ulun Kulkul (aci Petahuan) and Pura Banua Kawan (Ngusaba Buluh), Besakih complex – Rendang district, start at 09.00am.
- Pura Puseh, Sengkidu – Manggis district. Aci Kepitu ceremony.
18 January Asak village – Karangasem district. Usaba Kaulu, is ritual that set free a cow then to be execution by villager start at 09.00 am.
18 – 24 January. Tenganan Pegringsingan

Usaba Kasa Ceremony.
- 18 January, First day of Usaba Kasa rituals, preceded by preparation of the main ceremony at Bale Agung and Gaduh Temple accompanied by Selonding music.
- 19 January Ritual at Puseh temple (one of the village temple) followed with procession of effigies to Bale Agung, accompanied by Rejang (the sacred dance) and Selonding music.
- 20 January, Ritual at Bale Agung accompanied by Rejang dance, performed at 11.00 am and at 06.00 pm
- 21 January, Meeting and rituals at Bale Agung followed by Rejang dance in casual dress, while Rejang dance in complete traditional dress performed in Bale Agung at 11.00 am and Patemu Kelod (meeting hall) at 05.00 pm
- 22 January, Last day of rituals at Bale Agung followed by procession of effigies back to Puseh temple. Rejang dance performed in Patemu Kelod at 11.00 am and in Bale Agung at 05.00 pm accompanied by Selonding music.
- 23 January“Abwang Peteng” literally means “Abwang dance performed in the afternoon” commenced with Rejang dance by children & young girls in casual dress in Bale Agung at 04.00 pm, followed by Abwang dance and Selonding music by maidens & bachelors of the village at 06.00pm.
- 24 January “Abwang Lemah” means “Abwang dance performed before noon”. Commenced with Rejang dance by children & young girls in casual dress at 10.00 am. The main event is Abwang.
19 January Pura Dalem Puri, Besakih complex – Rendang district. Ngusaba Dalem ceremony where Hindus ancestor spirits come down to Pura Dalem Puri for awhole 3 days.
27 January Pura Dalem Puri Besakih Aci Buda Kliwon Ugu, Besakih Temple, Rendang District at 10.00 am.
27 – 30 January Pura Dalem Puri Pura Besakih Complek, Rendang district at 10.00am.Aci Buda Kliwon Ugu
27 s/d 30 January. Pura Bale Agung, Perasi – Karangasem district. Usaba Barisan ceremony start at 10.00 am.
29 January - Pura Ida Ratu Pasek (ceremony) and Pura Banua Kawan (Usaba Ngaed ceremony), Besakih complex – Rendang district.
- Pura Dalem Suci, Dukuh – Sidemen district. Ceremony start at 02.00 pm .
